Tap Kids

Sunday Worship & Sunday School

On Sundays, families can check-in their kids at our Check-In desk. Kids then join their parents at the beginning of service to worship together before heading to Sunday school classrooms with their teachers for Bible lessons. We also facilitate a self-supervised Family Room, where parents can care for their children during the service. 

Tap Kids welcomes children of all abilities and backgrounds. We provide the Family Room for infants (0-2), Tap Tots (3-K), Tap Kids (grade 1 to 5) and Tap Juniors (grade 6-7).

What does it look like on Sunday?

• Families arrive 5-10 minutes before service. 

• Our volunteers will welcome and greet families at the door and direct them to the Tap Kids Check-In Desk to check in their children for Tap Kids.

• After check-in, families will head to the sanctuary together for a time of worship.

• Children will worship with their families for 15 minutes before being dismissed from the sanctuary to their Sunday school classrooms or the Family Room.  

• After service, parents will pick up their children from the classrooms.

• If parents prefer to keep their children with them in service, activity bags with books and colouring sheets are available for children to use. Feel free to pick up one at the Tap-In table and return it after service. Earmuffs are available if parents find the music too loud for their babies. Earmuffs are at the coffee table in the sanctuary near the entrance door.
